Foster’s Trail & Alpaca Farm breeds and sells elite huacaya alpacas in Cleveland, Tennessee. We operate our Tennessee alpaca farm with a specific mission -- breed superior huacaya alpacas so our clients will benefit from our exceptional genetics in their own alpaca breeding programs. Our alpaca farm, located in Cleveland, Tennessee, is set up to offer great customer service to our clients and top-quality care for our alpacas. Our foundation herd was carefully hand-picked with a variety of elite bloodlines including 4Peruvian Legacy, 2Peruvian Augusto, 2Peruvian Caligula, 2Peruvian Victor, 2Peruvian Felix, and Peruvian Hemingway. More recently, we have added genetics from Snowmass Matrix, Accoyo America Polaris, 6Peruvian Accoyo Elite, CCNF Elixir, Snowmass Matrix Majesty, 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan, Rembrandt by El Nino, 5Peruvian Hiedra, and Accoyo America North Star. We have breeding quality alpacas for sale as well as fiber alpacas.

National Champion Herdsires

Our herdsires are taking national championships and producing champion offspring. Out of hundreds of alpacas, only one or two will meet the criteria to be a breeding male, an alpaca herdsire. In order to produce the ideal alpaca, breeders must be unrelenting in their adherence to top quality genetics as expressed in the traits of their alpacas. Ways we identify an ideal breeding male (or female) include:
  • fiber assessments
  • conformation
  • performance in the show rings
  • consistently passing on top quality genes

We have Champion alpacas in Tennessee here at Foster's Trail & Alpaca Farm (Cleveland, Tennessee). Alpacas can be transported throughout the country using alpaca transportation services.

At this year's (2021) Futurity Show & Sale, one of the most prestigious alpaca shows in the country, our herdsire Goldstar took highest honors by winning Fawn Male Color Champion.
Thank you very much Susan and Peter for selling those 4 beautiful females to me two years ago. After having bad luck with the females that I purchased from local farms I decided to do some research that led me to your farm. The old adage that you get what you pay for is very true. Now I feel that I am on the right track because of you and Peter. Not only do I have those 4 beautiful alpacas but 7 exceptionally beautiful crias with another one on the way. Also now when people visit my farm I can finally have the new desirable type of alpacas to show to them.
