"In August 2022 we were looking to purchase a couple black or brown alpacas to expand our herd. Fosters Trail Alpacas had several for sale. We wanted show quality alpacas and are believers in visiting the animals before you purchase. Upon arrival we were greeted by Peter and Susan  and told about the ones for sale. While in the pens with several alpacas  and only planning on the purchase of two the choice was tough. The quality of the fleece, conformation and stature of their herd is exceptional. Many of their animals are banner winners which make the choices tougher to purchase. When the decision was made 4 found their way to our herd.
